I would like you to know that my boyfriend of 11 months, Jon, is so awesome! One reason our relationship is well... awesome, is because we just go together well. When we eat out, we find two things on the menu that appeal to both of us that we'd both be willing to try. We order both things and then share. Even at places where you aren't really supposed to share like Dee's. Just the other day Jon wanted pancakes, and I wanted eggs and bacon, so we got some giant lumberjack breakfast that was only $8 that came with everything we wanted. They split everything up in two thinking I wanted one pancake, one egg, and one piece of bacon, ham, and sausage and Jon wanted the other half. So I passed over his 2 plates of pancakes and he gave me his 2 plates of eggs and bacon, sausage, and ham. Another example of this was shopping in the left over Easter candy section at Smiths. They had really cheap starburst and jolly rancher jelly beans and I couldn't decide between the two but only wanted one. So we each bought one kind, then poured half of our bag into each others bag. I then got to try both kinds of jellybeans I wanted, but only had to eat 1 bag of jellybeans (because you can't be wasteful...).
I think this is a parallel to what our marriage would be like, but I'm not quite sure how. But we haven't even been dating for a year so maybe it's too soon to mention marriage. :D
